The library has a history file for grocery stores in San Marcos. It contains original grocery receipts, photographs, advertisements and newspaper articles about grocery stores from the late 19th century to now.

The LBJ Museum of San Marcos will be hosting the 20th Annual LBJ Museum of San Marcos Ted Breihan Open Golf Tournament on Friday, April 21 at Kissing Tree Golf Club. The format of the tournament is a shotgun start and all proceeds benefit the museum. Registration begins at 7 a.m. with tee off at 8 a.m. concluding with lunch and raffle.

Lacey Fields has had an exciting year. In addition to attending classes at San Marcos Academy and completing all of the rites of passage that accompanies being a senior, she fulfilled the commitments to her crown as Texas Teen Miss Heart of the USA.
