It was a tough outing for the San Marcos Lady Rattlers as they fell to New Braunfels 1-0 in the final home game of the season.
Texas State baseball (75) faced the University of Texas San Antonio (11-3) Tuesday, March 7 at Bobcat Ballpark where the Bobcats lost to the Roadrunners 11-2. This was Texas State’s second loss to UTSA and its fifth loss of the season.

San Marcos could not overcome a hot shooting San Antonio Brennan team, as the Rattlers fell 82-54.
Texas State’s historic run ended in the Sun Belt Tournament Semifinals as the Bobcats fell to the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns 64-58.
Texas State softball had a run rule win and extra inning win in its pair of outings against Penn and Illinois State on the second day of the Owl Classic.
The weather is warming up and there are more races for runners to enter. It is time to shake off the cold weather missed days of running and start to concentrate on getting the times down to what you set last summer or fall. There are a number of race entrants that do a slow jog or even walk a 5K distance. They mention that they are just in the race for exercise, or to support the sponsoring organizations charity, but whether they run for fun or not every runner or walker likes to know their time. Invariably everybody seems to like setting a PR in a race whether they run or walk. Walkers will pick up the pace, or even do a jog, to set a faster time.
Texas State held off a late rally by Appalachian State to advance to the Sun Belt Tournament Semifinals in a 56-47 win over the Mountaineers.
