Old Things, New Meanings: Art returns to Price Center with two new shows

Visual Art displays are back at the Price Center via two new gallery shows opening this month at the downtown community center. “Old Things, New Meanings,” a five-person Pop-Up Show, debuted in the newly renovated Garden Room this past Saturday, and “A light at the End of the Tunnel,” a new online show, debuts on the Center’s website Thurs., Oct. 15. Both shows feature the work of local artists and most of the art is available for purchase.

Flaming orange flowers always catch my eye and the old-fashioned Mexican sunflower is still one of the best. They are probably catching your eye as well wherever you drive or commute in Central Texas. There may be a revival happening with this plant that I have failed to notice.
