Augusta Lavender Heliotrope tops must-have plants list for 2022

The colorful and whimsical pieces include a mosaic torso, a living chair, glass wind chimes, fanciful metal flowers, and naturally rendered twists on honey bees and elephant ear leaves. The new works compliment the Mermaid statue named Dianne that has anchored the corner of the downtown Garden since 2018.

Hamilton ticket buyers, beware: TPA seeks to protect consumers from fraudulent sellers

Texas Performing Arts will present a limited two week engagement of “Hamilton” at Bass Concert Hall in Austin, Dec. 7–19. Tickets for this engagement of Hamilton are not yet on sale. There are, however, numerous third-party sellers advertising tickets they do not actually have, at highly inflated prices. Currently, the only way to secure authentic “Hamilton” tickets for the Austin engagement is as an add-on to a Broadway in Austin season subscription. Texas Performing Arts encourages patrons to be diligent and exercise safe ticket-buying practices.
