Of my six grandchildren, only my granddaughter, Demaris, really cares about outdoor sports. I have done lots of hunting and fishing trips with her and will go more often now that she has moved back to Texas.

Owen Goodnight is the longest tenured coach in San Marcos High School Football history having coached the Rattlers for 17 consecutive seasons from 1950-1966. Goodnight won 121 games at San Marcos along with winning five district championships.
