San Marcos will receive nearly $7 million in federal funding for housing and public transportation through the CARES Act.

COVID-19 tests are now available in Hays County and more are on the way.

School Fuel, a nonprofit that prepares weekend meals for San Marcos public school students, will continue to distribute the weekend sack meals on Fridays through the end of the school year. Local hospitals and clinics are accepting donations of N95, P95 or surgical masks as supplies of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Hays County has pending requests to the state for Personal Protective Equipment.
