WASHINGTON (AP) — The House Jan. 6 committee’s final report asserts that Donald Trump criminally engaged in a “multi-part conspiracy” to overturn the lawful results of the 2020 presidential election and failed to act to stop his supporters from attacking the Capitol, concluding an extraordinary 18-month investigation into the former president and the violent insurrection two years ago.

Hill Country Freethinkers Association’s Santa showed up this week at the San Marcos Public Library to donate $3,500 to Friends of the Library. Library Director Diane Insley greeted HCFA members and received the donation. In keeping with Freethinker values and the efforts of the American Library Association’s Office for Intellectual Freedom, the donation is earmarked for the purchase of banned, restricted, or censored books.
