The San Marcos Police Department said it's searching for any information about an armed man going door to door at The Village on Telluride, 201 Telluride St., who was reportedly demanding cash.
Police say the man was carrying a pistol and entered apartments, asking for money and other goods. SMPD said witnesses described the man as black with a shaved head, black shirt, khaki pants and a black bandana over his face. Witnesses said he was approximately 5-foot-10.
