Orin Wayne Crocker passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020, at the age of 72. He was born on September 26, 1947, in San Marcos, Texas, to Orin Wayne and Betty Jo Jackson Crocker. He was raised in Pearsall, Texas, and he graduated from San Marcos High School. He was a hometown sports hero and known affectionately as “Bubba”.
He served in the Army Reserves in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He attended Arkansas State University, where he was quarterback of the football team, graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law and went on to practice criminal law. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Morgan Wayne Crocker. He is survived by his daughter Amanda Crocker of Austin, Texas, sisters Susan Moulton of San Antonio, Texas, and Mary Ledlow of Waring, Texas, and cousin Patricia Jackson of Arlington, Texas.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at San Marcos City Cemetery in San Marcos, Texas.
