JoAnn Crane Scobee

JoAnn Crane Scobee, 71 of Kingsville, TX passed away 2/19/20. A vigil to honor her life will be held on Saturday March 7th at 11am at St. Albans Episcopal church in Austin. She was born July 18th 1948 in Kingsville, TX. She was a loving mother, grandmother (GranGran) and great grandmother. In the 1980s she moved to south Austin and raised her children and worked for the University of Texas until 2009 when she moved to Indianola, TX for her retirement years. She loved to go fishing off the jetties, reading novels and dancing. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, PJ Buddy and Jo Ila Crane, sister Patsy Crane Shaw. She is survived in death by her Brother Dennis Crane of Uhland, Daughter Katherine Hendricks and Wes Haney of Bastrop, son Randy Scobee and wife Karina of San Marcos, son David Scobee and wife Mary of Dale, 9 granddaughters, Felicia, Angelina, Julia, Karen, Alex, Hailey, Makaylah, Hannah and Emiley and 2 great granddaughters, Andianna and Leilani, 2 nieces, Zena Phipps, Becky Tacquard and 2 nephews, William Shaw and Phillip Shaw. She loved her family with a passion and was extremely proud of their accomplishments.
