Our beloved Ruben Prado, Sr., age 59, resident of San Marcos was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 20, 2020.
Ruben is preceded in death by his father, Adolfo Prado, Sr.; brother, Santos Prado; and stepdaughter, Yvette Natal.
Ruben is survived by his wife, Esther Natal; his mother, Beatrice Prado; his daughter, Ruby Prado; son, Ruben Prado, Jr.; stepchildren, Veronica and husband David Pena, Vanessa Natal, and Jeffrey Natal. Ruben is also survived by his brothers, Johnny and wife Liz; Adolfo Jr. and wife Patricia; James; sister Barbara and husband Michael Simpson; grandson, Alex; and many more loving family and friends.
Ruben will be remembered as the life of the party; for his love of cooking, singing, and dancing. Ruben will be forever missed and loved.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2020, 4 - 8 p.m. at Thomason Funeral Home in San Marcos, TX with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m.. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at St. John’s Catholic Church in San Marcos, TX. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery in Reedville, TX.
Serving as pallbearers are Joe Luera, Steven Hernandez, Sr., Paul Hernandez, Johnny Prado, Jr., Miguel Simpson, and James Prado, Jr. Honorary pallbearer is Manuel Prado.
