Mikey Hernandez, Jr., age 26, passed away January 9, 2020 after a very courageous battle with leukemia.
Mikey was born June 22, 1993 in San Marcos, TX where he was raised by his father and lived at for most of his life in a town where he was loved by many.
Mikey is survived by his dad, Michael Hernandez, Sr., his mom Cindy Garcia Hernandez, his brothers Jesse James Hernandez and Billy Hernandez, his sister Nicole Marie Hernandez, his biological mother Cynthia Silva, his step brother & sisters, Erica, Anthony and Emily, his grandpa Felix Hernandez, Sr. who he loved dearly, and over 100 family members; aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. in San Marcos,
Mikey was a man of God, a man of faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
Memorial services will be held Friday, January 17, 2020 at Sinai Church, 308 Laredo St., San Marcos, TX from 11am - 12pm followed by comida at Dunbar Recreation Center from 12 - 5 p.m.
