Rainfall totals of 2 to 3 inches are expected to fall across the watch area, which includes all of the Austin metropolitan area.
This episode of moderate to heavy rainfall could result in isolated flash flooding along area roadways, underpasses and low lying areas as well as small creeks and tributaries.
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
