Dr. Charles D. Bell M.D., of Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia, died on Nov. 14, 2019.
Dr. Bell was born on Oct. 4, 1929, in Coryell County, Texas. He married his spouse Robbie Nell Forrest Bell on Jan. 1, 1954 in Dallas. Dr. Bell was a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force. After he was discharged from the Air Force, Dr. Bell, went into private medical practice in Kyle/Buda where the family lived for many years.
His preceded in death by his father, John Elzie Bell, mother, Callie Estelle Ward Bell, spouse, Robbie Nell Forrest Bell Neilsister, Mary Lou West, and grandson, Tyler Oliver.
He is survived by son, Greg Bell & Wife Denise — Spring, TX., daughter, Beverly Bell — Georgetown, TX., daughter, Barbara Olive & husband George — Wirtz, VA., daughter, Carlolyn Bell - Rosanky, TX. and son, Bill Wade — Swansea, IL. Dr. Bell had 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Dr. Bell is scheduled for Nov. 23 at Nail-Haggard Funeral Home — Daingerfield, TX at 11 a.m. Pallbearers are Christopher Bell, Cameron Bell, Justin Foster, Marshall Foster, Michael Meischenand Jonathan Meischen— all 6 are grandsons.
