The members of the Leadership San Marcos Class of 2021 attended their Team-Building Retreat on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Newk's Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels.

The 15 class members started their day with problem-solving tasks and ropes-course activities designed to encourage teamwork and push beyond physical and emotional limitations. In the afternoon session, the class participated in the Colors workshop led by Jeff Caldwell to better understand their dominant leadership qualities. After determining their Colors, class members learned how best to use these strengths while working within a team. Leadership San Marcos classes begin Thursday, Sept. 10.
