Who wants to party outside tonight? Parks and Recreation will be hosting Party in your Park from 5 to 8 p.m. at Dunbar Park. This is a family-friendly and fun event that includes yard games, music, refreshments and more. Go have a blast with your community, and for the adults out there maybe the party could be topped off with a nightcap at the Davenport. Have you had their Sage Against the Machine alcoholic beverage? It has cucumber and sage and is the perfect light and refreshing summer drink that packs quite a punch! Also, school is almost back in session, and school supplies are in high demand. La Sociedad Mutualista Cuauhtemoc will be hosting a Back to School event from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at Cuauhtemoc Hall. This is a family friendly event with Loteria Games, prizes, music and art activities. There will be free hair cuts for students. There will also be free school supplies and backpacks to be given out on a first come first serve basis, but the student must be present.
