Texas State has announced the 2024 Take Back Texas Tour which will see the Bobcat Football Program host multiple special events across the state for fans and alumni.
The events are co-hosted by the Texas State Alumni Association and Bobcat Club.
Each event will have a meet and greet with Head Coach G.J. Kinne, Director of Athletics Don Coryell and members of the football team. People in attendance will have a chance to win special prizes, purchase season tickets and more.
The tour starts Tuesday, June 4 in Houston at Karbach Brewing Company then continues on Thursday, June 6 in Dallas at Ozona Bar and Grill. Both events start at 6 p.m.
Tuesday, June 11 will be the two different events hosted on the same day. The first event will be in Austin at Scholz Garten starting at 12 p.m. before the second event in Round Rock at Urban Creekside starting at 6 p.m.
Thursday, June 13 the Bobcats will be in McAllen at the University Drafthouse starting at 6 p.m.
The final event of the tour will be Sunday, July 21 in San Antonio at Devil’s River Whiskey Distillery starting at 6 p.m.
People planning on attending these events are encouraged to buy tickets before the events. Tickets are currently available at $25 dollars a piece.
Texas State is coming off a historic season going 8-5 and winning the program’s first ever bowl game.
Texas State will host seven home games for the 2024 season including games against UTSA and Arizona State.
