VETERANS SUPPORT

Operation: Hats Off For Veterans, an annual BBQ gala sponsored by Hats Off For Veterans and hosted at Texas Old Town in Kyle, celebrated another successful event, raising $22,000 to support Texas veterans' education and professional development initiatives.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, HOFV is dedicated to providing financial assistance to veterans embarking on their journey towards higher education. HOFV mission extends beyond merely aiding veterans in obtaining their first higher educational degree. HOFV also strive to assist them in pursuing certifications or licenses in skilled trades, fostering their professional growth and development.

Army Sgt. Kyle Pringle, a distinguished veteran, was honored at the gala as the first recipient of the prestigious HOFV Master Sergeant Jimmie Quintero Scholarship. Sgt. Pringle accepted the $1,000 scholarship that will be applied towards his degree in Aquatic Biology.

HOFV scholarships represents the organization's commitment to assisting veterans in pursuing their educational aspirations as they transition into civilian life.

The gala would not have been possible without the generous support of its sponsors. The event was made memorable thanks to the contributions of Black’s BBQ, Texas Oncology, Maji Consulting, Awesome Moonwalks and Rentals, The Kiddie Express, and numerous table and auction sponsors. Their dedication to the cause of supporting veterans is truly commendable and deeply appreciated.

Guests at the gala were treated to an afternoon of beautiful weather and entertainment provided by local cover band, Full On Fiasco, and U.S. Army veteran and Texas Country Artist, Bart Crow. Crow's performance added a special touch to the event, highlighting the talent and resilience of our nation's veterans.

'We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support shown by our sponsors, attendees and performers at Operation: Hats Off For Veterans,' said Lisa Adams, CEO at Hats Off For Veterans. 'The funds raised will play a vital role in growing and expanding our mission to empower veterans through education and professional development opportunities.'

The $22,000 raised at the gala will enable HOFV to continue providing scholarships, financial assistance and support services to veterans seeking to obtain higher education degrees or certifications in skilled trades.

HOFV encourages Texas veterans to explore the various educational and career pathways available to them, knowing that they have a dedicated ally in their pursuit of success. Through financial assistance programs and personalized support, HOFV aims to remove barriers and create opportunities for Texas veterans to thrive in their chosen fields.
