The city issued a boil water advisory Sunday after an electrical failure and a loss of pressure, officials said.

The affected streets include Village West, Harmons Way, Hunter Ridge, Quail Run (North of Trails End), Lazy Ln, Oak, Maple, Mulberry, Mesquite, Hamilton Hollow, Knight and Day.

According to city officials, as of Monday, crews had addressed both the electrical repair and loss of pressure.

The boil water notice remains in effect until the city receives water test results from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality which were expected at time of press Monday afternoon. Officials said repair crews always leave notices for residents impacted by boil water advisories. This notice occurred on a Sunday and to make sure the community was sufficiently aware the city posted on its social media sites as well.
