James “Jim” Locke

James "Jim" Locke of Mt. Airy, N.C.  passed away on March 13, 2019 at the age of 76.  He was born to James Locke and Ladelle Seamans on March 23, 1942.  Jim was a longtime resident of San Marcos, Texas.  During that time, he was employed by Wide-Lite, Artcarved and was the owner and operator of Deckare, Inc., a deck restoration service. He is preceded in death by his father in 1996 and his mother in 2011 along with two siblings, Boyce Locke in 1998 and Sharon Sluder in 2003.  He is survived by his wife, Faye Locke of Mt. Airy, N.C., his son, David Locke of Helotes, TX, daughter Charlotte Massey of Buda, TX, brother Jerry Locke of Converse, TX, brother Chuch Sluder of Trinity, TX and 5 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held this Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the LDS Pavilion located at 3751 Trail Ridge Pass in San Marcos. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the ALS Association.
